How to Change Facebook Username

Do you want to change your Facebook username? Just see this article.

Step 1- Go to Account Settings. 

Step 2 - If you want to change your name then click on Name Button. And put your desired Name. After applying ok your name will be changed within 24 hours.

If you want to change your Username you need to put a unique username. see the picture below

Enter your preferred username and your password. Your username will be changed.

Here are some rules about username which are provided by Facebook 

1. You can't claim a username someone else is already using.
2. Your username should be as close as possible to your true name (ex: Jsmith or John.Smith).
3. Choose a username you'll be happy with for the long term. Usernames are not transferable and you can only change your username once.
4. Usernames can only contain alphanumeric characters (A-Z, 0-9) or a period (".").
5. Periods (".") don't count as a part of a username. For example, johnsmith55, john.smith55 and john.smith.55 are all considered the same username.
6. Usernames must be at least 5 characters long.
7. Your username must adhere to Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities.

Report Fake Facebook Profile

To report any fake Facebook profile is very easy. Just go to that fake profile. Click on ''settings'' which is situated beside message button. Then click on ''report/block'' button.

then you will get a popup window like this picture. You can report here.

Select the option like pretending to me. Don't forget to tell your friends to report that ID.

Facebook Post Disappeared!!! Read this article.

Many people are experiencing this type of problems now-a-days. Just wait and you will see your post again.

There are so many reasons for this problem.

1. May be somebody reported your post.
2. May be your post violated Facebook's rules.
3. May be it's just a bug!
4. May be somebody know your password. He/she deleted it from your profile

About Getting Notification of Messages

Facebook won't give you any notification for messages. Facebook will give you notification only for your friend's activity. And also for posts, photos, events, videos etc which is related with you and your friends.
